There is something in my house?

the other day i was in my room playing with my dog.my bedroom door was locked.the handle of my door started rattling and my door was shook like someone was trying to get in.i opened the door and nothing was there.i asked my dad he said he didnt do it. i asked my mom she said she didnt do it either.what is it?
