I just got a new pc yesterday and I cannot get it to recognize a monitor of any sort. Ive used vga and hdmi.?

The pc was made by cyberpower and I have checked that both the monitors that I have used work on my laptop, xbox and other desktop computer. I opened up the case( I dont know really anything about building computers) but everything looks in place and not rattled around. please help thanks!
